Our Identity

Revival4Youth (aka R4Y) is an online Adventist youth community dedicated to connecting youth from all over the world and helping them get closer to Jesus.

To make faithful young disciples of Jesus Christ who live as His loving witnesses and proclaim to all people the everlasting gospel of the Three Angels’ Messages in preparation for His soon return (Matt 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Rev 14:6-12). In harmony with Biblical revelation, we view the climax of God’s plan as the restoration of all His youth to full harmony with His perfect will and righteousness.

Revival4Youth will do this by providing an online space where youth can…

  • Make new friends
  • Share the gospel
  • Have meaningful conversations
  • Communicate with others 24/7
  • Participate in (and help organize) youth-run Bible studies, prayer meetings, and events
  • Engage in lectures, classes, and workshops
  • Gain valuable skills applied in the real world
  • Prepare themselves by become better, stronger, and faithful Christians to live firmly in the end times
  • And ultimately… get closer to Jesus.

Doing all of this under the guidance of the Bible and the Holy Spirit.

Our Platforms

Revival4Youth’s “virtual headquarters” will be on Discord, but will upload content onto other platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and more.

Discord is a social network platform that allows users to create digital spaces (aka servers) organized into topic-based #channels where they can collaborate, share, and talk about their day (via text, video and audio conference) without having to clog up a group chat. (Strictly ages 13 & above)

Revival4Youth has chosen Discord as it’s virtual headquarters because it is a platform that provides us with community features that no other platform has. It specializes in building communities and we can clearly see how effectively we can use Discord for God’s will, while still using other media platforms respectively. Discord will be mainly used for the hands-on community aspect of Revival4Youth, where youth will be able to interact and have meaningful conversations with one another, while also participating in events & activities all on the same platform.

Revival4Youth will utilize other platforms, such as YouTube & Twitch, by creating and sharing Christ-centered content (videos, images, and texts) that will, through the Holy Spirit, have the power to change lives. We will post insightful, relevant, and encouraging content that will benefit the lives of young people all over the world.

More

The shortened term of the name Revival4Youth is R4Y. On the internet, the number “4” may be replaced by the letter “A,” just like “0” may be replaced by “o.” Therefore, R4Y can also mean RAY, a ray! A ray… of light in the darkness! The Bible talks about light multiple times (1 John 1:7, Matthew 5:14-16, Ephesians 5:8, Philippians 2:15, 1 Peter 2:9).

Ellen G. White also goes more in depth with this calling:

“Will you, young friends, arise and shake off this dreadful indifference and stupor which has conformed you to the world? Will you heed the voice of warning which tells you destruction lies in the path of those who are at ease in this hour of danger? God's patience will not always wait for you, poor trifling souls. God, who holds our destinies in his hands, will not always be trifled with. Jesus declares to us that there is a greater sin than that which caused the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. It is the sin of those who have the great light of the truth in these days and who are not moved to repentance. It is the sin of rejecting the light of the most solemn message of mercy to the world. It is the sin of those who see Jesus in the wilderness of temptation bowed down as with mortal agony because of the sins of the world… It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of Judgment than for those who have had the privileges and the great light which shines in our day, and who neglect to follow the light, and give their hearts fully to God.” {PH013 31.1-32.1}

We are confident that the Lord will use Revival4Youth in great ways, as long as we put Him first and continue trusting in His promise which says “...be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58
